Karma very slowly and very cautiously made her way to the edge of the mountain ledge she was standing on, peering over the side to look down the edge of the steep cliff. She'd never been up this high before and her interest was piqued by the view she was taking in, the world seeming like it belonged to Durants below her. Ears raised atop her head and tail twitching, she was broken from her observing by a calm but slightly worried voice a few feet away.
"Careful, dear, you don't want to go over the edge. I certainly won't make it in time to catch you." The Pokemorph turned her head reluctantly away from the scenery, her eyes falling on the fluffy form of her Furfrou, the first Pokemon she'd gained in her new life in Sinidad. The Furfrou was a gentle Pokemon, it was her nature after all, and cared for Karma as if she was her own little Pokemon pup, which she sort of was considering she was half Pokemon. It was understandable that a Pokemon would gain such a strong friendship with a Pokemorph, but this was more of a mother-daughter bond than a friend. Karma didn't mind, it was like she finally had a family. Taking one last glance over the edge, she wandered over to where Moona, her Furfrou, sat peacefully on a rock before sitting down beside her.
They'd come up here in search of another Pokemon for her party, considering she had a lot of slots to fill, and the Pokemorph was quite anxious about what she would find. She hoped it would be a nice Pokemon that wouldn't want to battle, as she'd never done it before and was quite nervous as to what would happen. As for the exact Pokemon she was looking for, she hoped she would either encounter a Noibat or a Deino, but if she was unable to encounter those any Dragon Type would do for her. Putting her hand on the fluffy head of Moona, she started to stroke it slowly, enjoying the warmth of her Pokemon's fur.
